BIOGRAPHY

Entrepreneur, leader, motivator, radio personality and public speaker are all words used to describe businessman Curtis R. Monday. He is refreshingly down-to-earth, yet undeniably set apart. From humble beginnings, Curtis has made millions – creating financial success for himself and members of his community. At 24, Curtis opened his first business, the Curtis R. Monday Insurance Agency, in Hazel Crest, Illinois.

Curtis launched both the Monday Investment Group, LLC and CRM Rental Properties, LLC in 2017. The Monday Investment Group, LLC is a residential redevelopment company that acquires, renovates, sells and holds real estate primarily in the Chicagoland area. CRM Rental Properties, LLC acquires and holds single family and commercial properties. Curtis’ work and investments are labors of love and commitment to promoting wealth creation and eradicating financial inequality within the African American community.

Curtis created and hosted Dollars and Sense, an informative, weekly radio talk show that aired on Chicago’s WVON for over a decade. The show was inspired from a dinner conversation that Curtis had with his white colleagues. The goal of the show was to provide the African American community the opportunity to have the “conversation” regarding the economy, entrepreneurship, politics and real estate. In 2015 Curtis expanded his media platform and created the weekly radio show The Monday Morning Perspective. The show aired on WYCA 102.3 FM and focused on having conversations that touched on business, sex, religion and politics from a Christian perspective. In 2019, Curtis returned to WVON to become the host of The Urban Business Roundtable. Curtis’ goal with the show was 1) to help the urban community leverage their purchasing power in order to influence the marketplace 2) to impact small businesses and 3) to provide access to both business opportunities and capital. In the fall of 2019 Curtis launched the real estate investment show She Flips He Flips. Along with co-host EJ Williams the show helped provide listeners a blueprint on how to create wealth via real estate investing.
